Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week

The Care Center is hosting a series of events to raise awareness of student hunger and homelessness. See below for more info!
Clothes Closet Open House - Nov. 14th
11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Care Center Patio
Come by and shop! Look through the Clothes Closet's selection of professional attire for your next interview, conference, first day of work, and more. All items will be set up outside of the Center. Current CPP students can select up to SIX free items per semester.
Resource Fair - Nov. 15th
11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
University Park
HAHAW is designed to educate the public and draw attention to raise awareness of student hunger and homelessness. Through the resource fair, we'll host organizations on campus to help share resources that can help.
Bingo cards will be provided at the event. Complete the bingo card for a chance to win prizes!
Film Screening - Nov. 16th
2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Bronco Student Center
We're hosting an in-person screening of the film "Pursuit of Happyness." This event is by registration only and first come, first served. Participants will receive a free lunch box while supplies last.
Clothes Closet Donation Drive - Nov. 17th and Nov. 18th
11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. and 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Drop-off at the Care Center
Please do not donate casual wear items that cannot be used in a workplace enviornment. Requested items include:
- Blouses
- Skirts
- Dress shirts
- Cardigans
- Dress shoes
- Jackets
- Ties
- Slacks
