The Clothes Closet provides assistance to students who are seeking to obtain proper clothing attire for an interview, a career fair, a conference, or the first week of work. Any student is welcome to visit the Clothes Closet and can take 6 items of professional clothing a semester. Students can seek the assistance of a Clothes Closet assistant by appointment or by walking in during our business hours.

Donate to the Clothes Closet
Donations are accepted the Closet every second Wednesday of the month.

Tax Receipts
- Tax receipts are distributed by the Advancement and Gifts office.
- Donors will need to give their name and email to receive a tax credit.
- The Care Center is not in charge of emailing them out — the office can take 2 to 4 weeks to process.
What Can Be Donated?
Professional clothing items and accessories (if you can wear it to an interview and/or first day of work, we'll take it). Please ensure items are clean and usable.
- Suit pieces: blazers/pants
- Dresses
- Skirts
- Blouses/tops
- Pants
- Belts
- Ties
- Button-ups/polos
- Cardigans/jackets
- Shoes (no sneakers, casual sandals, or worn-out shoes)
- Handbags, backpacks, tote bags, work bags
- Accessories including earrings, watches, necklaces, rings, etc.
Please do not donate:
- Casual wear items
- T-shirts
- Undergarments
- Sweats
- Sneakers
- Swimwear
- Prom dresses/gala/formal dresses
- Worn-out items
