Case Management Services
Cal Poly Pomona is committed to providing support to students who may be experiencing stressors that are impacting their academic success. Our university values student success not only academically but emotionally, socially, and physically.
Our Case Managers are committed to the prevention, early intervention, education, and support to assist students in order to provide timely support that will provide the greatest chance of success. Case Managers will work directly with students to connect them with the appropriate support and campus and/or community-based resources.
During a meeting with Case Manager, students are encouraged to openly share academic concerns, social challenges, or personal stressors that may be impacting their ability to focus on their academics.
How Can Case Managers Help You?
- Support students with managing many aspects of their personal, social, and academic success
- Assistance with navigating campus and/or community resources
- Addressing questions for concerns about utilizing various campus resources
- Coordination and follow up prior/during/after a hospitalization
- Assist with withdrawal for medical reasons
