Dr. Jae Min Jung is a Professor of Marketing and the director of the Center for Customer Insights and Digital Marketing (CCIDM) at Cal Poly Pomona. He received a Ph.D. in Marketing from the University of Cincinnati and an MBA degree with a concentration in Business Statistics from the University of North Texas. Dr. Jung researched various consumer behavior topics including various digital marketing topics such as online advertising (i.e., interactive banner, game ads), international social media marketing, text analysis of tweets. Currently, Dr. Jung is interested in applying econometrics and data science methods to consumer behaviors. His research has been published in renowned journals such as European Journal of MarketingInternational Journal of Hospitality ManagementJournal of Business ResearchJournal of Cross-Cultural PsychologyMarketing letters, and Psychology & Marketing. Dr. Jung has taught various courses including signature experiential courses such as Customer Insights Consultancy ProgramDigital Marketing Consultancy Program, and CCIDM Internship Program. His efforts earned him prestigious recognitions such as Jagdish N. Sheth Research Excellence Award, the Wall of COOLProvost Teacher-Scholar Program Award, and Faculty of the Year Award.
