Dr. Yuanjie He

Dr. Yuanjie He
Professor, TOM

Dr. Yuanjie He is a Professor and Chair of Technology and Operations Management Department in CBA Cal Poly Pomona. He received his Ph.D. in Operations from Weatherhead School of Management, Case Western Reserve University in 2005. His main research and teaching interests are in the areas of supply chain management and business analytics with over twenty high quality publications on contemporary topics such as sharing economy, sustainability, and supply chain risk management, etc. He has been leading the College of Business Administration’s efforts in developing master level programs, including the Master of Science in Business Analytics (MSBA) and the Master of Science in Digital Supply Chain Management (MSDSCM).

Dr. Shuo Zeng

Dr. Shuo Zeng
Associate Professor, TOM

Dr. Shuo Zeng is an Associate Professor of Technology & Operations Management at the College of Business Administration. He received his Ph.D. in Management Information Systems from Eller College of Management, University of Arizona in 2015. He also received a M.Eng. in Computer Science in 2007 and a B.Eng. in Automation in 2004 from Tsinghua University, China. His teaching interests are business analytics, operations management, and information systems. His research interests include game theory and contract theory applications in operations management, sharing economy, and business analytics in e-Commerce. His work appeared in journals such as Mathematical Methods of Operations Research, International Journal of Production Economics, IEEE Intelligent Systems, and Expert Systems with Applications.

Dr. Alireza Yazdani

Dr. Alireza Yazdani
Assistant Professor, TOM

Dr. Alireza Yazdani is an Assistant Professor of Technology and Operations Management at the College of Business Administration, California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. Alireza’s research interests relate to retail operations, pricing models, and service operations. In particular, he studies firms’ product and pricing decisions in response to market characteristics including competition, heterogeneity, and strategic consumer behavior. Alireza has taught courses such as Operations Management, Managerial Statistics, and Management Information Systems. Alireza earned his PhD in Operations and Business Analytics from University of Oregon in 2019. Prior to joining the PhD program, he earned both BSc (Industrial Engineering) and MBA degrees from Sharif University of Technology. He has worked in professional capacities in three different industries (auto-manufacturing, petroleum, and banking), with responsibilities ranging from marketing and strategic planning to systems analysis and organizational development.

Dr. Xiaohui (Eva) Xu

Dr. Xiaohui (Eva) Xu received her Ph.D. in Supply Chain and Operations Management from McCombs School of Business, University of Texas at Austin in 2005. She also holds a master’s degree in business administration (MBA). As a full professor at Cal Poly Pomona, her main teaching experience is in supply chain management, production management, and e-business. Her research work has appeared in leading operations management journals such as Production and Operations Management, Managerial and Decision Economics, and Decision Support Systems.

Dr. Wenge Zhu

Dr. Wenge Zhu received his Ph.D. in Supply Chain and Operations Management from McCombs School of Business, the University of Texas at Austin in 2005. He also received a master’s degree in Management and a bachelor’s degree in Electric Engineering. His main teaching interests are supply chain management related areas and e-business. His research areas are new product development, supply chain management, and sustainable operations. His work has appeared in journals such as Management Science, Production and Operations Management.

Dr. Kwon Gi Mun

Dr. Kwon Gi Mun

Dr. Kwon Gi Mun is an assistant professor of Technology and Operations Management at the College of Business Administration, California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. Dr. Mun’s research interest lies in supply chain management and energy interface, as well as healthcare and healthcare operations. He has experience working with industry and government partners, especially in energy policy /energy system modeling/healthcare operations/disease prediction using data analytics. His work has appeared in Production and Operations Management and Manufacturing & Service Operations Management. Dr. Mun received his Ph.D. degree in both Operations Research and Business (Supply Chain Management) as the Joint Degree from Rutgers University in 2016 and the M.A. in Economics from University of Missouri Columbia in 2009 and he, as a doctoral student, also studied Operations Research in IEOR at Columbia University. Dr. Mun was a full-time staff at Korean Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Seoul, Korea.
