About Me

Professor Matthew Mulyanto received his M.B.A. from Northrop University and a bachelor of electrical engineering from the University of Southern California. He has been involved in managing businesses for more than 25 years. He managed a company involved in product development, marketing, importing and distributing houseware products to chain retailers such as Vons, Albertsons, Safeway, Kroger, Publix, Meijer, Walgreens, CVS, Bed Bath & Beyond, Sam’s Club, Wal-Mart and Target. He has patented products, trademarked brand names and created several well-known ceramic tabletop accessories from Campbell's Soup, Betty Crocker and Betty Boop. Currently, he is the president and CEO for companies involved in import/export and e-commerce businesses. He has taught at Cal Poly Pomona since spring 2009. Teaching is his passion, and he enjoys seeing his students attain success in the real world.
