Dr. Mingyan Xiao is currently an assistant professor at Computer Science Department, California State Polytechnic University. I graduated with a Ph.D. degree from Computer Science Department, at University of Texas at Arlington, supervised by Dr. Ming Li.
My research interests span over general areas of privacy and cyber-security. My current research interests include privacy preserving algorithms/systems, crowdsourcing, and system security.
I am teaching CS 1400 Intro Programming Prob Solving and CS 4630 Undergraduate Seminar in Fall 2022.
