Peter Kilduff is the associate dean in the Huntley College of Agriculture and a professor of the Department of Apparel Merchandising and Management at Cal Poly Pomona. He was the department chair from 20016 to 2021. He began his career in the UK textile industry before pursuing graduate studies at the University of Leeds in the United Kingdom and then starting an academic career lasting 21 years.
Professor Kilduff is a recognized expert in the analysis of the competitive and structural dynamics of the global fiber, textile and apparel industries and their markets. His research has embraced strategic, marketing, organizational, economic, technological and supply chain management issues. He has worked extensively in a research and consulting role with leading companies, national trade institutions and government agencies in Europe, Asia and North America, investigating industry policy, and industry and market dynamics across a spectrum of fiber, textile, apparel and related sectors.
