About Me

Scott is a proud alumni of Cal Poly Pomona’s Urban and Regional Planning program. He has worked in the planning field for 20 years in the communities of San Gabriel, Pasadena, and Temple City.  He currently serves as Community Development Director in Temple City, overseeing the City’s planning, building and safety, code enforcement, animal control, CDBG, parking permit, and customer reception functions.  Some of his greatest professional achievements include working on a General Plan Update in San Gabriel, Pasadena, and Temple City; preparing a comprehensive update of Temple City’s Municipal Code; writing Temple City’s Crossroads Specific Plan; and managing entitlements for Pasadena’s Ambassador West Project and Las Encinas Hospital Master Plan.  He has acted as staff to city Design Commissions and Planning Commissions.  He has also received a Master of Arts in Leadership and Organizational Studies from Azusa Pacific University.
