GenCyber Summer Camp

GenCyber logo

Knowledge of operating systems and networking are fundamental to understand the concepts of cybersecurity and forensics. However, in the current secondary school curriculum, students and their teachers have minimal exposure to these topics.

The Cal Poly Pomona (CPP) SFS team proposes to organize a GenCyber camp for secondary school students (grades 9-12) and teachers to introduce fundamentals of operating systems, forensics and networking concepts and show the application of these concepts in the domain of cyber security curriculum, certifications and competitions through hands-on activities. The camp will also include external speakers on cyber security competitions, certifications, careers and curriculum development.

Check out photos of our past GenCyber Camps here: GenCyber Facebook Page.

The camp activities are supported by a generous grant from National Security Agency and National Science Foundation.

The participant interest form is now OPEN. You will be contacted with further information on application process in the e-mail that you provided on the participant interest form.
