Understanding the Budget
Faculty and staff learned about the university’s budget process and asked questions of President Soraya M. Coley at the “Understanding the Budget” campus conversation on Nov. 26.
The presentation provided an overview of California’s budget process, how the state funds the CSU system, the CSU’s budget allocation to Cal Poly Pomona, as well as other revenue sources for the campus. The campus conversation also touched on CPP’s 2018-19 budget and the multi-year budget planning model.
President Coley was joined with Provost and Vice President for Academic Sylvia Alva, Vice President for Administration and CFO Danielle Manning and Associate Vice President for Finance and Administrative Services Joe Simoneschi.
