Invitation to the Strategic Planning Town Hall

March 10, 2017

To the campus community:

Over the past year, our campus has been deeply engaged in a conversation about who we are, what it means to be a polytechnic university, and what our future holds. The level of engagement was significant. We received 10,000 responses to survey questions and conducted 28 open forums and focus groups.

On behalf of the Strategic Planning Steering Committee, we invite you to a Town Hall meeting next week to preview the initial outcomes of our initiative. We will share the plan’s mission, vision, values, and strategic priorities. The event is on Thursday, March 16, from Noon to 1 p.m. in the Bronco Student Center, Ursa Major.

The Town Hall will stream live via the Strategic Planning website, and comments on the plan for the Steering Committee may be submitted online.

When we launched the Strategic Planning Initiative, it was important that we hear from all of our stakeholders, and we appreciate your continued engagement and candor. Strategic planning is a collaborative process, and the outcome is consequential. Every person’s voice and participation is vital in developing our priorities and making progress on our goals and objectives. As a university, we are at our best when we work together as one team with a common goal of student success.

We look forward to seeing you next week at the Town Hall meeting.

Sincerely,
