Help improve air quality. Take the 2021 Employee Commute Survey.

Dear Campus Community, 

Each year, Cal Poly Pomona staff, faculty, student assistants, Foundation and ASI employees are required to complete an Employee Commute Survey. Even though much of the campus community continues to work remotely, the South Coast Air Quality Management District still asks that we complete the survey.

The survey keeps the university in compliance with Rule 2202 of the South Coast Air Quality Management District, which requires employers to reduce emissions generated from work commutes. The survey is confidential and only records employee commutes to campus over a five-day period (Mon – Fri). Your information will not be shared and will be used for the sole purpose of identifying unique survey submissions.

The survey will ask you to report how you arrived to campus and your scheduled work hours for the survey period. For days you work remotely please mark under COMMUTE MODE option “V. Telecommute”. Otherwise, mark the appropriate commute mode for your individual situation.
