Whether working with students in secondary schools or collaborating with local theatre organizations, you’ll gain hands-on experience in creating and leading educational programs that inspire and empower diverse audiences. Courses

The Theatre in Education and Community Engagement option is for those who are passionate about using theatre as a tool for education and social change. This track prepares you to teach theatre in secondary schools or to work with community-based theatre organizations. The curriculum emphasizes the development of pedagogical skills, as well as the ability to create and implement theatre projects that engage and empower diverse communities. You will gain practical experience through workshops, student-driven projects, and participation in mainstage productions. You will be equipped to pursue careers in educational theatre, community engagement, or further study in theatre education.
