Leadership Development

Our Mission
The Leadership Development office nurtures leaders by developing and supporting a variety of student leadership opportunities through collaboration with Academic and Student Affairs departments, recognizing successful student leadership, and fostering the natural leader in each Cal Poly Pomona student.
Our Program
Students who participate in the Leadership Development program will:
- Cultivate meaningful experiences and connections working with the campus community that will help enhance their understanding of the importance of diversity of history, values, politics, communication styles, economy, and beliefs.
- Learn transferable and essential skills that will prepare them to be successful for the future of work.
- Demonstrate informed and responsible actions to address ethical, social and environmental challenges in human systems.
- Articulate own leadership capacity on a thorough examination of personal leadership style.
