The EOP Learning Center houses our EOP Learning Strategists (EOP Tutors) and provides an inclusive learning community and academic support to EOP students, Renaissance Scholars (RS), and students part of Male Success Initiatives (MSI).
1-to-1 Appointments
Meet with an EOP Learning Strategist for 1-hour appointments for STEM courses or writing assignments and presentations.
Book an appointment on CPP Connect. You can choose one of the following:
- Virtual meeting via Zoom
- In-person meeting in the EOP Learning Center in Building 1, Room 200
Drop-in Session
Drop by the EOP Learning Center located in Building 1, Room 200 (2nd floor) to meet with an EOP Learning Strategist (LS) or to find a quiet place to focus and get stuff done. Drop-in sessions are currently available in-person on a first come first serve basis.
How to Make an Appointment
Book an appointment using CPP Connect:- Once logged in, select "Get Assistance"
- Select "Tutoring" for the Type of Appointment
- Choose "Tutoring" under the Reason for your Appointment
- Select "Student Support and Equity Programs-Tutoring"
- Follow the prompts to choose appointment time; to meet virtually or in-person, and subject/course for tutoring, then confirm your appointment.
- An email will be sent to you with your appointment information.

What is an EOP Learning Strategist?
An EOP Learning Strategist is the official name of EOP tutors who are equipped to help students build their self-efficacy to successfully complete their courses from start to finish.
EOP Learning Strategist's focus is not just on grades but on sharing the skills and knowledge needed to learn meaningfully and independently. They provide guidance through problem-solving and can help share the following academic skills:
- Academic Self-Efficacy
- Time Management
- Study Skills
- Note Taking
- Setting Goals
