Two members of the Huntley College of Agriculture faculty have won grant awards to support their research and teaching.
Bonny Burns-Whitmore, a professor of human nutrition and food science, received $2,301 in Research, Scholarship, and Creative Activity funding from the Council of Graduate Faculty Scholarship. The funding will help Burns-Whitmore and three of her students on an undergraduate project researching the relationships between pasta, resistant starches, and the glycemic index. It was one of 22 projects funded out of 94 in the application process.
Assistant Animal & Veterinary Science Professor Cord Brundage received an $843 Faculty Professional Development Mini-Grant for his project, “Animal Anatomy Skeleton Preparation & Articulation.”
