The Continuous Improvement (CI) Team partners with departments throughout the Division of Administrative Affairs to identify improvement opportunities and provide practical strategies, tools, and project management support that advance divisional initiatives. Through these efforts, CI helps strengthen operations, maximize resources, and support consistent, meaningful outcomes across the division.
Project Spotlight!
Congratulations to the Division of Administrative Affairs on the successful implementation of CSUBUY Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and the CSU Concur Single Instance! These systemwide initiatives modernized the campus’s purchasing, payment, travel, expense, and Procurement Card processes. Staff from Financial Services, Strategic Sourcing and Support Services, and Continuous Improvement collaborated with Information Technology and CSU partners to make these transitions possible. The P2P implementation helped reduce average purchase-order processing time by approximately 59%, while the Concur transition brought travel, expense reporting, and Procurement Card workflows into a shared, standardized platform. Together, these accomplishments reflect the dedication, expertise, and teamwork of the Administrative Affairs staff and partners who helped make them possible.
