Annual Giving & Stewardship

Please provide the following information:

• The name of the person being honored or remembered
• The name and mailing address of the individual or family to be notified about the tribute gift
• The philanthropic fund you wish to designate for this gift

There are three ways to make a gift:

1. Make a gift online and provide the name of the person you are honoring. 
2. Call us at 909-869-6809.
3. Mail a check, payable to Cal Poly Pomona Philanthropic Foundation or CPP-PF, to Cal Poly Pomona Gift Processing, PO Box 3121, Pomona, CA 91769.

You may designate your gift to any fund that is particularly meaningful to you, the occasion or the honoree. You can find a full list of all philanthropic funds at Cal Poly Pomona on the Giving Search page. If you do not have a preferred area, we suggest the Bronco Fund, which supports the university’s greatest needs.

We suggest that you use text similar to this:

“The family requests that memorial gifts be made in support of [fund name] at Cal Poly Pomona. You may make a gift online at cpp.edu/giving/cpp or make a check payable to the Cal Poly Pomona Philanthropic Foundation (CPP-PF). Please indicate that the gift is in memory of [honoree's name] in the memo area on your check. Mail to: Cal Poly Pomona Gift Processing, PO Box 3121, Pomona, CA 91769.”

Notifying us in advance ensures we are able to appropriately inform the honoree (for gifts in honor) or family member (for memorial gifts) about any tribute gifts we receive. Please contact us at 909-869-6809 or annualgiving@cpp.edu to provide the following information:

Endowments are a wonderful way to honor someone and leave a charitable legacy. To begin an endowment, a minimum contribution of $50,000 is needed to generate an annual impact that will continue to support your or your honoree’s passions in perpetuity. There are opportunities for named spaces on campus, scholarships, program support and more. There are multiple opportunities across campus to commemorate or honor your loved one.

• Alumni bricks in the Rose Garden can be engraved with your name, major and graduation year. For more information, please contact the Office of Alumni and External Relations at alumni@cpp.edu.
• Student-built Bronco Engineering Competition Vehicles — including the SAE Formula and Baja cars, Liquid Rocket, Concrete Canoe and Autonomous Robot — offer opportunities for an honoree to be recognized.
