I picked is the Master of Science in Information Security because I wanted to continue in pursuing a higher education and enhance my background in my field.
I chose CPP for my master’s degree because I really enjoy the staff and the academic atmosphere that CPP provides. I keep in touch with my professors from undergrad, so it was a no-brainer decision for me.
My favorite class that I have taken so far is GBA5200 which is Fundamentals of IT Auditing. I really enjoyed that class because I learned a new concept that I never experienced, and I met a lot of working professionals that have inspired me to pursue this degree.
Although I have only been in the program for less than a year, I’ve learned to strengthen my skills in communication and working with others in a group setting that I now have taken back to my work and personal life.
My advice for any future or potential graduate business students is that you should push yourself to be outside your comfort zone. Don’t be afraid to take chances and risks because you might regret it later.
