CEU Revisioning

Revisioning The CEU: A Process of Redesign
The process of revisioning CEU began by identifying four major areas that they envision to serve. Focus areas are:
- Industry Partners
- Global Campus
- CPP+ Gateway to Growing Careers
- Rebranding the College
The image below illustrates the brainstorming process that occurred at the beginning stages when discussing this project.
The Process
PHASE I - Project Scoping (May 2020-Nov 2020)
In Phase I of the revisioning process the contributors discussed the CEU’s strengths in programs and services. In this phase contributors discussed hopes and dreams, identified who the CEU was and where they saw the college in the future.

PHASE II - – Envisioning the Opportunity
During Phase II the contributors brought ideas for what we can offer for the future of work. It was a process of discovery, ideating, establishing why the college was important for collaborating with various departments and colleges across the university.

THE BIG REVEAL – was the time when first of many vision map drafts was put together. Several tweaks and changes were being implemented as the contributors worked together to refine the final vision map.
PHASE IV - Strategic Initiatives and Organization Alignment (May 2021 - August 2021)
In moving forward the new CEU seeks to rename to The College of Professional and Global Education (PGE). The search for a Dean and strategic organizational restructuring will follow. As a result of these initial steps, the PGE will poise itself as a leader as it responds to the adjustments in how our community learns. PGE is ready to address the growing need for non-linear education, global education, and the mindset of engaged and evolving learning.
