Northrop Grumman Collaboration Project

About Us

The Northrop Grumman Collaboration Project (NGCP) is a joint technology demonstration between Cal Poly Pomona (CPP) and Cal Poly San Luis Obispo (CP SLO). We provide a great interdisciplinary experience, allowing students to apply their classroom knowledge to solve real-life challenges. Each year, we are given a Request for Proposal (RFP) with the system and platform requirements by Northrop Grumman. The RFP dictates the year's mission. Past missions revolve around the search and rescue of an immobile hiker, survivor, or patient. From autonomous vehicles to ground control systems, CPP students build mission-ready technology. Apply now for the 2025–26 Northrop Grumman Collaboration Project.
