About Me

Andrew Steele received his A.B. in Biology from the University of Chicago in 2001. Subsequently, he pursued graduate studies at MIT at the Whitehead Institute for Biomedical Research with Prof. Susan Lindquist, obtaining a PhD in 2008 from the Biology Department. That same year he became a Broad Fellow in Brain Circuitry at Caltech, where he ran a  research group as a non-tenture track faculty member until 2013, when he became tenure-track faculty member in Biological Sciences at Cal Poly Pomona.
