About Me

nn Phong was born in Saigon, Vietnam, and has settled down in Southern California since 1982.

In 1995, Ann received her Master of Fine Art degree from California State University, Fullerton, and has actively participated in more than 70 solo and group shows in galleries and museums. Her work has been widely exhibited in Los Angeles, Orange County, San Jose, Houston, Vancouver, Paris, Thailand, Seoul and Japan.
Ann's paintings have been collected by the Queen Gallery in Bangkok, the Cal State University Fullerton Student Center, the BSC at Cal Poly Pomona University, the Sweeney Gallery of UC Riverside, as well as various private collections. Some of her works are included in American high school text book, such as Literature and the Language Arts, published by the EMC Corporation.

Since 2007, Phong has been invited by the College Board of Education Testing Center as one of the readers for AP Studio Art for high school students. She has also been invited to speak by many high schools, colleges, universities, galleries and museums on the subject of her own work and work of other Vietnamese American artists.
