Faheem Ahmed Shaikh

Faheem Shaikh works as Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Information Systems. He earned a Ph.D. in Information Systems from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore and brings a decade of experience in the Information Technology industry, with a specialized focus on cybersecurity. Before moving to Cal Poly Pomona, he worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Jyväskylä in Finland, where he developed and taught a course on ‘Online Privacy’, with a focus on European regulation. His research focuses on behavioral and strategic cybersecurity. At Cal Poly Pomona, Faheem teaches courses on Cloud Infrastructure, Network Security, DevOps and Telecommunications.
