Bio

Nian Lim (Vic) Lee earned his BSBA in Marketing from Auburn University and his Ph.D. in Accounting from Georgia State University. He is particularly interested in corporate governance and how managerial preferences and incentives can affect firm outcomes. Although he undertakes primarily archival research, he is also interested in experimental work exploring the interaction of machine intercessions with human decision-making processes.

Vic believes that critical thinking is crucial for everybody's success and endeavors to encourage critical thinking by challenging his students to apply concepts discussed in class to novel arenas.

Vic's experiences prior to academia include aviation sales and military logistics.

Vic used to be an avid longboard surfer although in recent years, age and work commitments have taken their toll. Nowadays, he primarily self-collects rocks and minerals during breaks.
