About Me

Hello IBM4112 students, my name is Olga Di Franco. I have lived most of my life in the USA, however I did spend quite a bit of time in Paris and Rome.  I began my university studies in Rome at John Cabot University; I then transferred to the American University in Paris and received my BA in International Affairs. I lived and worked in Paris for several years until I decided to go back to school for my masters.  I received my MBA from CSULA in International Business with a concentration in Marketing and Management.  I started working in the private sector in Marketing and teaching part time at CSU system, and I’ve been teaching at Cal Poly Pomona since 2017.

I participate yearly at the Marketing Educators Association (MEA) conferences presenting different research topics.  In fact, a paper I co-authored won Best Paper of the Year 2019.  I have also consulted small and medium-sized businesses in their marketing and operations. I have been teaching Business and Marketing for many years and am passionate about learning new trends and finding ways for my students to be successful in their field of studies.
