About Me

Dr. Croteau teaches art history for the department, specializing in non-Western courses. Her graduate studies were carried out at UCLA where she earned an MA in American Indian Studies and Ph.D. in Art History. Her scholarly interests include the history of museum collecting and display, and reciprocity in the creation of Native American "traditional" art. She lives in nearby Claremont with her husband, three children and assorted menagerie.
