Amiyah Ellsworth is the 2025–26 ASI President at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, where she is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Political Science with a Pre-Law emphasis.
In her capacity as ASI President, Amiyah oversees a multi-million dollar budget supporting student services, programs, and facilities. She chairs and participates in numerous committees, including Human Resources, Finance, Governmental Affairs, and Sustainability, and serves on university-wide bodies such as the Academic Senate and University Leadership Council. She also represents Cal Poly Pomona on the California State Student Association (CSSA) Board of Directors, advocating for over 480,000 students across the CSU system.
Amiyah serves on the Boards of Directors for both the Cal Poly Pomona Philanthropic Foundation and Cal Poly Pomona Enterprises, contributing to strategic planning, fiscal oversight, and donor engagement. Her leadership is rooted in a passion for civic engagement, public policy, and community empowerment.
Previously, Amiyah was a R.I.S.E. Student Ambassador, supporting Black student success and mentoring incoming students. Her campus involvement includes the Pre-Law Club, Black Student Union, Black Women of Excellence, and the Emerging Scholars Program.
