Teves currently serves as the Vice President for University Advancement at Cal Poly Pomona (CPP) and as the Chief Executive Officer of the CPP Philanthropic Foundation. Serving in this role since 2023, she leads the university's fundraising, alumni engagement, corporate and foundation relations, government and community relations, and strategic communication efforts.
Joining Cal Poly Pomona in 2017, she previously served as Associate Vice President for Government and External Affairs, securing more than $20 million in federal funding to support university initiatives. At the start of the COVID-19 global pandemic, Teves was tapped to lead the university’s pandemic response and repopulation efforts as the Coordinator of the Safer Return Task Force. Before joining Cal Poly Pomona, she served as Chief of Operations for University Advancement at California State University, Fullerton (CSUF), and Secretary of the CSUF Philanthropic Foundation Board of Governors.
Teves received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from California State University, Fullerton, and a Master of Public Policy from the Price School of Public Policy at the University of Southern California.
