Paola Taylor Region Vice President, Human Resources Sysco Los Angeles

Paola Taylor is region vice president of human resources at Sysco Los Angeles, where she leads HR strategy for one of the company’s largest regional operations. With over two decades of experience in the foodservice, retail, and higher education sectors, Taylor is known for driving strategic HR initiatives that elevate workplace culture, employee engagement, and organizational performance. 

Taylor began her career at Sysco in 2000 and held progressive HR and risk management roles over a 16-year span before returning in 2023 to lead regional HR operations. Her previous roles include vice president of human resources at Azusa Pacific University and director of human resources at Pacific Sunwear. She holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from CSU Fullerton and an associate’s degree in paralegal studies from Mt. San Antonio College. 

A longtime advocate for talent and leadership development, Taylor supports Cal Poly Pomona through Sysco’s philanthropic giving, including sustained contributions to programs like Hospitality Uncorked.
