What is a PolyX?

Signature polytechnic experiences (PolyX) at Cal Poly Pomona help students discover real world challenges and solve them using hands-on techniques. Through collaborative learning and with intense mentoring, PolyX brings lessons out of the classroom and prepares students for professional and civic success.

PolyX Showcase 2024

PolyX Showcase 2024
November 21, 2024

The 7th Annual PolyX Showcase, hosted by Innovation Incubator, is scheduled for November 21, 2024, from 11:30 AM to 1 PM at the Bronco Student Center.

The showcase will feature an in-person poster session where students will present their projects. This format allows for interactive Q&A sessions with the students, providing an opportunity to delve deeper into each presentation. We hope that you can join us in supporting the hard work and dedication of our CPP students throughout the semester!

While faculty oversight and mentorship play a key role in the project, it should be primarily a student-led effort. Students should participate in generating questions or topics of study, developing answers, defining roles and responsibilities for team members, finding resources, setting schedules and deadlines and asking follow-up questions.
