Courses

Cal Poly Pomona’s Bachelor of Science in Urban and Regional Planning option in Infrastructure and Transportation focuses on the essential systems that support city operations, including transportation, water supply, and waste management. This option equips students with advanced knowledge and skills to understand, analyze, and plan these complex infrastructure systems. Students are encouraged to approach infrastructure from multiple perspectives, including planning practice, policy, analytic methods, the relationship between infrastructure and land use, and the regulation of infrastructure providers. The program also emphasizes innovation and equity in infrastructure planning, ensuring that students are prepared to address the challenges of modern urban environments.

Financial Aid & Scholarships

Peter J Pitassi Design Scholarship

Open to freshman, sophomore and incoming transfer students majoring in Architecture, Landscape Architecture or Urban and Regional Planning with a GPA of 3.0 or higher. This scholarship award is $2,000.
