The EOP Learning Center provides two types of academic support:

Writing & Presentation Support
Course-Based Tutoring for select courses like Biology, Business, Engineering and Spanish.

Writing & Presentation Support
Our Writing & Presentations Learning Strategists can help you strengthen your writing and communication skills for any class or project.

You can meet with them for:

Academic papers and essays

Presentations and speeches

Scholarship or personal statements

You do not need to be enrolled in a specific course to schedule these appointments.

Course-Based Tutoring

Our Course-Based Learning Strategists provide tutoring for select subjects such as Chemistry, Math, Physics, Engineering, and Business.
To book a session:

You must be enrolled in one of the supported courses listed below.
You must match with a Learning Strategist’s availability on CPP Connect.

Step 2: Check the Learning Strategist Schedule to see who’s available at a time that works for you.
Step 3: Make appointment on CPP Connect. Need help? Use our CPP Connect Guide for step-by-step instructions.

An EOP Learning Strategist is the official name of EOP tutors who are students equipped to provide guidance by building on a student's academic skills. EOP Learning Strategist's focus is not just on grades but on sharing the skills and knowledge needed to learn meaningfully and independently.

You can book a meeting with an EOP Learning Strategist for 1-hour appointments on CPP Connect.

You can choose to meet in-person or online with a Learning Strategist.

In-person meetings are in the EOP Learning Center in Building 1, Room 200 located on the second floor in Building 1.
Virtual meetings are offered via Zoom.

You can make an appointment to meet with an EOP Learning Strategist for STEM course-based tutoring or choose to meet with a Writing and Presentations Learning Strategist. See EOP Tutoring Subjects to view current list of course subjects we offer.

You must be enrolled in the course you currently seeking tutoring for. If you do not see a course you are seeking tutoring for, please feel free to contact us at eoplc@cpp.edu.

Drop by the EOP Learning Center located in Building 1, Room 200 (2nd floor) to meet with an EOP Learning Strategist (LS) or to find a quiet place to focus and get stuff done.

Drop-in sessions are currently available in-person on a first come first serve basis.

All EOP students have access to book an appointment through CPP Connect.
You can choose to meet in person or virtually with a Learning Strategist.
Course Based Tutoring: You must be enrolled in the course you currently seeking tutoring for or it may not appear in CPP Connect as an option.
Writing and Presentations Tutoring: All students can access tutoring for general assistants with writing and presentations. No specific course is required.
