Create a Modern, Technology-Enabled University

Students, faculty, and staff should be able to spend less time navigating university processes and more time learning, teaching, creating, serving, and leading.

Through 2030 CPP, we will simplify how we work, modernize our technology and digital infrastructure, and use data, automation, and emerging technologies to build a university that is more agile, accessible, and responsive.

Technology should make our university more human, not more complicated.

A More Connected Campus Experience

Modernizing the university means more than adopting new technology. It means rethinking how our systems, services, and processes work together.

The CPP 2030 Digital Campus will support more intuitive digital experiences, integrated services, streamlined processes, and stronger access to information. By reducing unnecessary barriers and connecting information across the university, we can make it easier for students and employees to get the support and resources they need.

Our goal is to create a university that responds to people’s needs and allows our campus community to focus on what matters most.

Preparing for an Emerging Technology Future

Emerging technologies are changing how people learn, work, and solve problems. Cal Poly Pomona will embrace these opportunities while preparing students to use technology responsibly and creatively.

Through an Emerging Technology Hub, we will create opportunities for students to develop the skills to become ethical creators, innovators, and leaders.

We will also explore how technology can strengthen teaching, advising, research, communication, and university operations.
