As Senior Vice President of Community and Membership Development for SchoolsFirst Federal Credit Union, the largest credit union in the nation to serve school employees and their families exclusively, Kristin Crellin is the key spokesperson within the educational community.  She is responsible for the areas in the credit union who we see in the community and our schools and districts throughout the state of California.  This includes School and Community Relations, Financial Literacy, Membership Development and Advocacy.

Kristin has been with SchoolsFirst FCU for more than 34 years and enjoys working closely with, various school districts, universities and colleges as well as many community partners.  She is an advocate for credit unions and education at the K-12 level as well as the California Community College system and the California UC and CS University systems.  She serves on many boards and foundations including CSU Foundation, Cal Poly Pomona Foundation, UC Riverside Foundation, Cal State San Marcos Foundation and Santa Ana College Foundation.

Kristin is the President of the Education Foundation for California Schools, a foundation that provides grants for educational and innovative programs that support core curriculum and enable teachers to purchase or create materials for their classrooms.

A graduate of California State University, Fullerton, Kristin is active with the alumni association as well as many other areas on campus.  She is also a graduate of Western CUNA Management School and is recognized as a Credit Union Development Educator (CUDE). 

Kristin grew up in Orange County, has two adult children, and currently lives in Villa Park with her husband of 31 years.
