Students who complete a series of activities to prepare them for the Hospitality Career Expo will earn a spot on The Collins College Wall of Stars website.

Students must earn a total of 35 points out of the possible 50 points. You do not need to answer all the questions, just enough to reach the 35-point threshold. The deadline is Thursday, February 10th at 11:59 pm PST to submit. Some questions are scored automatically, others require review. Please provide 72 hours for scores to be posted. Personalized feedback will be given to each student who submits to ensure they are prepared for success through an optional Zoom session, details will be after a submitted application.

Inductees to the 2021 Wall of Stars will have a chance to submit their photo, bio, and career goals to be featured on The Collins College Website.

Recruiters will be allowed to submit up to two names each at the end of the fair. Those students will be featured on our Wall of Stars webpage with a “Best of the Best” designation.

In past years we had a program called “Best of the Best” where each employer would award up to two physical buttons that said “Best of the Best” to students at the fair that showcased the hospitality spirit. While we can’t do physical buttons, we are still offering our “Best of the Best” program virtually.

If you need to cancel a session you signed up for, please cancel through Handshake AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. This allows another student to take your spot with that employer. If you no show for the session, a report is generated and sent to me for review. The Deans office, your faculty advisors and I will be reaching out to all students who fail to attend their reserved session to discuss professional etiquette for meetings and the reason for your absence.
