About

I joined the math faculty at Cal Poly Pomona in Fall 2016. Before that, I was a Visiting Assistant Professor at Idaho State University (2012 - 2016). Before that, I earned my PhD from the University of North Texas (2006 - 2012). My research interests are in noncommutative algebra, representation theory, graph theory, and combinatorics, especially as relates to complex reflection groups. My favorite part of math is the way seemingly unrelated concepts often fit together in surprising ways! When not doing mathematics, I might be found keeping Too-Ticky out of trouble, learning the ukulele, or going for a walk.
