Jonathan B Puthoff

I am faculty in the Chemical and Materials Engineering (CME) Department in the College of Engineering at California State Polytechnic University in Pomona, CA, where I teach courses and work on research projects with CME students.

Our work involves the mechanics of materials, tribology, physical metallurgy, micro- and nanoscale engineering, and bioinspired engineering design. We develop advanced materials for engineering applications, including geckolike adhesives and dye-based solar cells.
