Biography

Maha Ghosn, MBA, is a Lecturer in the International Business and Marketing Department within the College of Business Administration at Cal Poly Pomona. She also serves as Program Coordinator for the Master of Science in Business Analytics in the Singelyn Graduate School of Business.

Professor Ghosn has more than a decade of experience teaching undergraduate and graduate courses at the intersection of marketing, business research, and data-informed decision-making. Her teaching areas include market analysis, marketing research, business research methods, marketing strategy, and marketing management applications. Many of her courses have been recognized as Signature Polytechnic Experiences (PolyX), engaging students in applied research, data analysis, and real-world problem-solving. She also develops and directs the MBA Capstone Business Consulting Project, in which multidisciplinary student teams use research and analysis to develop evidence-based recommendations for organizational clients.

As MSBA Program Coordinator, Professor Ghosn provides academic and administrative leadership for the program, supporting curriculum planning, course scheduling, faculty coordination, student advising, recruitment, retention, and program development. She works closely with students, faculty, administrators, and industry partners to strengthen the student experience and advance the program’s goals.

Professor Ghosn serves on the Board of Directors of the Marketing Educators Association. She is also the Cal Poly Pomona Faculty Lead for CSU Online Course Services and a Student Quality Assurance Impact Research (SQuAIR) Faculty Fellow, working in collaboration with the CSU Chancellor’s Office and Cal Poly Pomona’s Center for the Advancement of Faculty Excellence. Through these roles, she supports quality assurance, faculty development, inclusive course design, and research on the impact of professional development and course certification.

Beyond academia, Professor Ghosn brings more than 15 years of industry experience in marketing, consulting, and business management, including leadership roles in automotive services, real estate, and healthcare.
