Rosalind Thorbourn is passionate about the leadership and organizational culture that shape both employee experiences and exceptional hospitality service. As a supervisor at Cal Poly Pomona Enterprises’ Centerpointe Dining Commons and a graduate student in the Master of Science in Hospitality Management program, she sees firsthand that great service begins with strong, supportive leadership. Her academic and professional interests focus on employee psychological safety and engagement and building healthier workplace cultures across the hospitality industry. Rosalind is a member of Eta Sigma Delta International Hospitality Management Society and volunteers with Pomona Valley Pride and Ozzie & Friends Pet Rescue. She credits her parents as her greatest role models, and draws inspiration from their perseverance, humility and belief in continuous growth. Naturally curious, Rosalind enjoys learning through leadership research, psychology, personal development and operational improvement. In the future, she hopes to lead teams with confidence, develop people with care, and demonstrate that employee well-being is essential to long-term success in hospitality and meaningful guest experiences.
