Zara Lozano is passionate about both music performance and the business strategies that help artists thrive. Music industry studies allows her to grow artistically while learning how marketing, branding, creative direction and data-driven decision-making can shape an artist’s career. She is inspired by how creativity and analytics work together to build meaningful connections between artists and audiences. Zara founded and serves as president of the CPP Music Industry Association, creating opportunities for students interested in performance, production, marketing and business. She leads club operations, events, partnerships, and branding while serving as historian for the Kellogg Honors College Club and participating in BARKADA, the Songwriters’ Showcase Ensemble, and the campus production of “Little Shop of Horrors.” Over the summer, she worked as a digital marketing and artist development intern at Golden Brain Records. Zara admires Filipino artist Beabadoobee, whose authenticity and representation inspired her own aspirations. With a musical theater background, Zara brings performance, storytelling and discipline to her work. She hopes to release music and help build a more artist-centered music industry.
