Editor's Note, Oct. 7, 2023: We've received a number on inquiries about the Insect Fair that referenced an article found through web searches. That article was from 2017 and has since been taken down. We regret the confusion. Unfortunately, we were unable to organize an Insect Fair this year.

There’s lots to do and see at Pumpkin Fest! Many activities only require general admission to enjoy. Other attractions require either individual tickets or the Activity Wristband. Please be aware that all Pumpkin Fest operated sales will be Cashless for 2023, although some vendors will accept cash for payment. Guests can pay with major credit cards or Apple Pay while at Pumpkin Fest.

ATTRACTION PRICING:
Attraction tickets can be purchased for $1 each or 11 tickets for $10 AT THE EVENT. All the attractions are FREE for children under three (3) when accompanied by a paid adult. Individual attraction prices vary and are listed below. An Activity Wristband, sold in limited quantities, may be purchased as an add-on with your admission ticket online. It allows you to save time and money with unlimited access to all the attractions listed below at a reduced price, see details:

Zone 1
Pumpkin Hill:
Our huge patch includes thousands of medium to large pumpkins for purchase surrounded by plenty of photo ops.
HOURS: Friday through Sunday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

This area also includes:
The Marketplace:
Handmade, artisan, and craft vendors; dessert and snack vendors.
HOURS: Weekends only 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Ag Demo Zone:
Featuring agricultural-themed demonstrations and displays including tractors and engines from the Western Antique Power Associates (WAPA); amazing weaving demonstrations; beekeeping; and Cucamonga John’s Gadgetorium.
HOURS: Weekends only 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

NEW! Pumpkin Land:
A wonderful and colorful area filled with an amazing variety of pumpkins and gourds making beautiful creations.
HOURS: Friday through Sunday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Cal Poly Pomona Farm Stand:
A good old-fashioned farm stand featuring unusual pumpkins, fall decorations, honey, pumpkin bread, and other goodies.
HOURS: Friday through Sunday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Kid’s Pumpkin Patch:
A fun and colorful space for little ones to find the perfectly sized pumpkin and lots of photo ops.
HOURS: Friday through Sunday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Farm Kids Country Fair:
The country fair includes a hay bale obstacle course, fun photo ops, games, the Exciting Duck Races, and the Kid’s Corn Maze.
HOURS: Friday through Sunday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Sunflower Fields Forever:
Update Oct. 23: Unfortunately, with the heat and the wear and tear from four weekends, the splendor of our sunflowers has faded. The sunflower fields won't be open for the final three days of the 2023 Pumpkin Fest. A beautiful maze filled with over a dozen different types of sunflowers that make it a great spot for photos and a place to enjoy the grace of these beautiful flowers.
HOURS: Friday through Sunday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The Barn:
Live country and bluegrass music and the location of contests and Fun Entertainment.
HOURS: Weekends only 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

ZONE 2: The Center Parking Lot is the place for great food and snacks. This is also the home for our Huntley College of Agriculture student club booths You'll also find shaded picnic tables and hay bales for sitting.
HOURS: Weekends only 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

ZONE 3: The Petting Farm: Our animals are some of the cutest and friendliest petting animals around. Meet and greet our furry friends with over 20 lovable goats, sheep (including our own celebrity Oreo), a calf, and a surprise or two. Feed cups are available for an extra fee. 

Moo Moo Cow Train: Ride on an antique tractor-pulled Happy Cow train car traveling around the petting farm pasture.
HOURS: Friday through Sunday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

ZONE 4: Large Corn Maze: It’s a crazy web of twisting, turning trails that will leave you scratching your head searching for the way out. This corn is not for the faint of heart, but don’t worry there’s always a way out. The corn maze closes earlier than other activities, so plan accordingly.
HOURS: Friday through Sunday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

ZONE 4: Hay Wagon Ride: Enjoy touring the Discovery Farm at AGRIscapes on a hay wagon ride pulled by one of our antique tractors restored, maintained, and driven by the members of the Western Antique Power Associates (WAPA). It circles the corn maze and some of the growing fields. Your student tour guide will share some info on things going on at the farm. The hay wagon rides close earlier than other activities, so plan accordingly.
HOURS: Friday through Sunday, 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Farm Store at Kellogg Ranch

The Cal Poly Pomona Farm Store sells a selection of the freshest produce and fruit straight off the university farm. We also have a variety of gourmet food and snack items for you to enjoy. During the month of October, The Farm Store sells a wide variety of pumpkins in all shapes, sizes, and types!

The Farm Store will be open 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Fridays through Sundays in October.

Please note: The Farm Store will be open EXCLUSIVELY to Cal Poly Pomona Pumpkin Fest patrons on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from Sept. 30 to Oct. 29. Paid admission is required to attend Pumpkin Fest. 

For the other days of the week, the store will open at its regular hours of 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
