Research, Scholarship, and Creative Activity (RSCA) Mini-Grant Program

RSCA 2025-26 funding is provided by the Chancellor's Office to support faculty scholarship.

PIs may request either 3 WTU academic year reassignment or up to $5,000 for research expenses and/or a summer stipend for themselves.  With the addition of students to support the proposed scholarly activity, requests may increase to a maximum of $10,000. RSCA 2025-26 funding is open to all members of Unit 3 - Faculty, Librarians, Coaches, and Counselors.

Proposals submitted to this program must follow the 2025-26 RSCA Faculty Mini-Grant Guidelines available at the link provided below and will be reviewed by the Council for Graduate and Faculty Scholarship (Research Council), an elected committee consisting of a representative from each College.

Applications must be submitted electronically by midnight, Sunday, February 9, 2025 through the InfoReady website - navigate to the competition titled "2025 RSCA Faculty Mini-grant Program."  Please note that the InfoReady site will not be open until announced by an email to the campus community in late 2024.

Be sure to follow the 2025-26 RSCA Guidelines to ensure a competitive proposal, because there have been changes to the program this year.
