Safety and Emergency Information

Date: 1/12/25

With high winds and wildfire risks persisting in the region, CPP is extending modified operations for Monday, Jan. 13, and Tuesday, Jan. 14. (Message to Campus: CPP to Continue Modified Operations in response to High Winds, Wildfire Risks January 13 and 14)

The university is activity monitoring conditions, including the fires, weather, air quality, power and campus structures, and is taking necessary steps to ensure the safety of our campus community.

We recognize that the devastating wildfires have affected thousands of people in Southern California. For those under evacuation orders or managing challenges caused by the fires, we encourage you to prioritize safety and follow local emergency instructions. Individuals should monitor local emergency instructions and follow their normal attendance reporting procedures if they are unable to report for work.

We stand in solidarity with those affected and are here to support our community during this difficult time.
