Black History Month is an annual celebration of the achievements of Black people throughout history. The BRC hosts a variety of programs that focused on culturally engaging spaces for Black students, elevating Black identities/lived experiences, and showcasing the current achievements of Black students.

'The League' Documentary and Lecture Series

'The League' Documentary and Lecture Series

Feb. 6 from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. at the University Theatre. Bryon Motley, producer of 'The League' comes to campus for a special screening of the documentary, which chronicles the story of his father, Bob Motley, a Negro League umpire. A discussion and Q&A will follow.

Feb. 8 from 12 noon to 1 p.m. at the Black Resource Center. JD serves as the EDI and BSR coordinator within University Housing Services and is committed to serving Black students and confronting anti-Blackness to create inclusive spaces to discover, create, and thrive.

Feb. 13 from 5 p.m. - 6 p.m. at Centerpointe Dining Commons. Celebrate southern soul dishes with the CPP jazz band.
