General Information
Winter Intersession General Information
Who Can Enroll?
Winter Intersession is for current, matriculated Cal Poly Pomona students.
Winter 2027 Session Dates
Academic Credit
Winter courses carry Cal Poly Pomona academic credit and follow university academic standards. Before enrolling, review your academic plan and talk with your advisor if you have questions about how a Winter course applies to your degree requirements.
How Winter 2027 Works
Winter remains a separate academic session with its own courses, dates, and registration period. You will continue to search for and register for Winter courses.
Beginning with Winter 2027, the university will process Winter together with Spring for administrative purposes. This happens behind the scenes. You do not register for Spring instead of Winter.
The change may allow financial aid to apply to Winter for eligible students. Financial Aid & Scholarships can help you understand how this may apply to your individual aid package.
