The Department

The Liberal Studies Department prepares students for dynamic career pathways and/or post-graduate study in K-9 teaching, higher education, and the corporate and government sectors through its unique interdisciplinary programs and pathways. Students develop workplace and lifelong learning skills like critical thinking, effective communication, and leadership in student-centered classroom environments and in real world settings like schools, community farms, libraries, and museums.
