This program serves students intending to pursue careers in the field of Adapted Physical Education (APE). The APE program can be taken concurrently with a Single Subject PE teacher credential and APE added authorization. The program prepares students for leadership positions in APE, APE doctoral programs, motor development programming, APE consultancy, and APE advocacy.

This program serves students who wish to take advantage of the interdisciplinary nature of Kinesiology. Students can select from the range of KHP graduate courses offered to build a curriculum that suits their specific educational and career goals. This degree of flexibility may be desirable to students seeking the unique polytechnic experience across disciplines including sport psychology, adapted physical activity, sociocultural inquiry, and coaching.

This program serves students intending to pursue careers in the broad field of Health and Human Performance. It prepares students for allied health careers in clinical exercise physiology, cardiac rehabilitation, strength and conditioning, exercise physiology, physical therapy, and occupational therapy. It also prepares students for doctoral programs in biomechanics, bioenergetics, exercise physiology, and rehabilitation science.

Prepares students for leadership positions in PE, PE doctoral programs, and broader advocacy positions in areas of physical literacy, socio-emotional learning and community-based practice.
