You can declare a major as early as the spring semester of your first year at CPP. You must declare a major during your first year.

If you do not meet with your advisor as required once per semester, you will receive a registration hold that will prevent you from enrolling in the next term. Once you meet with your advisor, your registration hold will be removed.

Check your CPP email for any messages from the Undeclared Advising Team about meeting with your advisor, either one-on-one or in a group session. You can also use CPP Connect to schedule an appointment or view drop-in availability.
